About Us

Hello!

We are Casey, Kerri, and Kimi - two sisters (Kerri and Kimi) and a cousin (Casey) who live in Southern California. We come from a big crafty family, and our Grandma has taught us to always be outspoken about causes we believe in, so it was only a matter of time until #stitchfor was born.

We started stitching at the beginning of the pandemic, sending out "happy mail" to friends and family. As the pandemic went on and through all the events of 2020, we realized we could use our hobby as a way to give back. So, in February 2021 we officially started Stitch.For.

While all of our causes are important to us, we were inspired to donate to Stop AAPI Hate in particular because of our family’s activism in the Asian community. Our uncle, Russell Jeung, co-founded Stop AAPI Hate and was recently recognized by Gold House as one of the 100 Influential Asians of the Year. Our Grandma co-founded “Stamp Our Story” -- a campaign that worked to recognize the Japanese-American soldiers of WWII through a postage stamp that will be released by the USPS in June 2021.

Besides stitching, Casey works as a cardiac nurse and enjoys rock climbing and traveling in her van. Kerri is a special education Pre-K teacher and loves traveling and camping. Kimi is a mama to to 2 silly toddlers and works in Broadway ticketing. Together, we are Stitch.For.

We look forward to getting to know you and your families through our stitches!
